Professional Qualifications:

Mr. Folkes assumed management of the firm in 1977. He has continuously functioned as a design engineer and project manager of projects throughout his career. Site and subdivision design and development, as well as the management of municipal projects, have been the primary focus of his business.

Mr. Folkes has extensive experience with numerous projects from conceptual planning through final construction. A designer, as well as a developer, Mr. Folkes is familiar with the full range of considerations with regard to major commercial, residential and industrial developments. Because of his far-reaching background in the area of zoning and land use, he maintains extensive relationships with clients, local municipalities and elected representatives.

Greenbrier Mall, Chesapeake, VA - Land use, permits, site planning, infrastructure design to include drainage and detention lakes system, parking areas, roads system, sewer, force main and pump station.

Cavalier Industrial Park, Chesapeake, VA - Land use, master planning to include master drainage plan, transportation system to include roads, railroad sidings, pavement and drainage design, utility planning and design to include gravity and force main systems and pump stations.
